MARIA CYNARA

Cynara (b. 2001) was raised in Bali, Indonesia and is currently based between Bali and Paris.

Rooted in the language of form and material, her work moves fluidly between disciplines.

Emerging from a foundation in textile and now her main practice centers on sculptural metalworks that lives the in-between: function - abstraction,
violence - beauty, and utility - resonance.
